August 2008.......BHP packs the house!

The premiere of Walking the River was a grand success! An enthusiastic capacity crowd of almost 300 folks created an energetic evening. Once we were able to work the projector, the crowd sat back and seemed to enjoy our film (at least that's what we gathered from all the laughter and applause). The Q & A session turned into a lively communal discussion on the current state of the Cuyahoga River. Thank you to the National Park Service, the CVNP Association, and everyone at the Happy Days Lodge for a successful premiere. Stay tuned for feature air dates and thanks to everyone for your support.

June 2007: Housing First celebrates Emerald Commons!

A celebration of permanent supportive housing and the opening of Emerald Commons Development was held on May 31st, 2007 with a variety of city and state officials, local residents, and corporate sponsors in attendance. Working with Julie Rittenhouse and Enterprise Community Partners, Blue Hole Productions produced a video of permanent supportive housing in Cleveland that was presented at the celebration. By all accounts, the event was a success. Sponsors for the video include Forest City Enterprises and Key Bank. More information on permanent supportive housing can be found through Housing First, Cleveland Housing Network, and Eden Properties Inc.

      People are actually watching…we think.

The production of the PBS-aired documentary, Citizen Hauser, has garnered several “firsts” for Blue Hole Productions. In addition to being shown on northeast Ohio affiliates WVIZ and WNEO, the short documentary was an official selection of the Athens International Film Festival, thus nearly reaching all corners of Ohio (and the rest of the universe).
